Pujols is playing under the weight of knowing that he's going to be suspended for violating MLB's PED policy. Also, because of that, he's not able to juice as he has in prior seasons. Cardinals haven't extended his contract yet, have they? That's why they gave Holliday "Pujols" money: they knew about the failed tests then and were aware they weren't going to be paying Pujols "pujols money".

On pace to bat .300, hit 30 homers and 110 RBIs and he's a flop...

I don't think he is a flop. But his numbers and Soriano's are pretty close so far this year. That is not very Pujols like.

Lets add Konerko to the surprise list.... the guy is OPSing 905 and already has half the home runs he did last year. He's on pace to hit 45-50 HRs this year which would be amazing from this guy. If he does, god bless whoever wants to pay his salary for the next four years, because I surely wouldn't sign him.

I don't know who this Halliday individual is that's going to double team you with Terry. On a side note, Roy Halladay tossed a perfect game today.

Ok so wrong bout  Albert the Gr8 If he played against a Pinella coached team he would be 80hrs 210 rbis and hit .475

Apparently, his lower than normal HR total YTD is related to his lack of games against the Cubs. A few games against them and he's right back on track.

Im gonna choose to believe this. Hussra has referenced it more than once.

Good enough for me.
