Kerry Sayers just texted me that the CJH flight ran late and they're not starting until 4. I guess nobody listens. You'd think as much as some boarders love to bitch about minutae, somebody would have been on it. Then again... I think the last post before this one was Saturday. ESPN's "Saloon" ratings in the second week of May had them 14th among men 25-54. B&B were 4th. Mac Show also 4th. S&W were 10th. But what do I know? I'm just one of those "afraid of change," -- the great Justin Craig in January of '09.

I feel bad for Jurco.

CJH could be taped the day before and there probably wouldn't be any mention of it on the board...

You'd think ESPN Radio 1000 Program Director Justin Craig would be on the phone right now with other hosts on the station in the event something like this happens...I noticed Marc Silverman & Jeff Dickerson were holding court last hour when I flipped over briefly. No, Jerry Lewis wasn't available...

It seems about the only time CJH get posted about is when they have remotes that some of us might attend.

Mac & Spiegs, if I remember, were supposed to broadcast live on a Friday morning at a place on Division Street in Wicker Park, not Old Town. There were technical issues throughout the broadcast and reached a point where they couldn't continue. I don't remember exactly what they were talking about, but there wasn't any transition that afternoon with Boers & Bernstein due in part to the technical snafus throughout the broadcast. I thought when something like that happened, the "Plan B" would be a makeshift show back in the studio...

So does that make Plan C the JC Penny intimates section of their catalog?

Two thoughts:

A) ESPN 1000 was too cheap to fly their hosts out the night before (in case the flight got delayed or cancelled)

B) CJH elected to get their rent-a-car instead of taking a cab or taxi directly to the studio. Not too savvy imho. Worst case they should have sent two of the hosts in the cab, and one of them could have picked up the car. ..and that's only if they didn't have an extra somebody with them.
