Vacations probably start, Monday you talk about the parade and the Cubs/Sox Series, maybe Nebraska to the Big 10. You see if there is a fire sale for the baseball teams, then wait for a couple of weeks to see where Lebron goes, and if it's not Chicago, talk about the free agents you get. If not good free agents, Bears and offseason Blackhawks moves.

In my opinoin, they could have had more White Sox talk, I would have wondered if the Cubs had swept the Sox this weekend and the stuff coming out of Kenny Williams-Ozzie, if Ozzie would have been fired, but the Sox go for the sweep tonight, so both Lou and Ozzie will probably last the season.

B&B and M&H will find other sports stuff to talk about, thay always do. Mac always has his favorite subject to fall back on...himself...and Piggy is more than happy to slurp along on that topic.

Gonna beat up Steve Stone for the next month!

I assume Spiegs will discuss with Mac bringing Stone on and basically calling the guy out. it is going to cause some tension (...tension please)

Spiegs might need Mac's power to go after Stoney a bit.

Once again, not ripping Stone for the content, but the "PERCEPTION" (As Rozner says, that he ahs an axe to grind with Cubs, with doing it under the veil of a baseball analyst.

I would say my Hawk bandwagon jumping was not only a product of the Hawks run but the Cubs and Sox just sucking it up. I am a Sox fan but will always watch the Cubs if they are doing well. This year, I have no interest in watching either team.
We gonna talk Cubs and Sox? Bear training camp July 30?
I could post this in any forum, but the what is everyone going to go over?

We're entering a dead period for Chicago sports. The LeBron James talk is fun, but it's completely speculative. I can only take so much of that. Both of the baseball teams stink. The seasons are over for both. How much conversation can really be had complaining about Lou or Ozzie/Kenny? Football can't come soon enough.

I'm not even looking forward to Bears talk with this show. After Mac said he'd trade Cutler for Golden Tate I lost hope for humanity.

Basketball, no chance.

I'm going to have to side with you on this one. This is going to be one hell of a dead-zone for 9am-1pm slot as Speigs is good for baseball and Mac is good for talking about sports in a very, very topical manner. I guess one could say he is a mile-wide and an inch deep on most of it. I still enjoy the show for the most part because I like its flow and general awkwardness at times...it has a charm all its own.

That was not a good moment for Mac.

I haven't listened to Mac very often, but I can't seem to get used to his radio voice.

He could easily do the voice of Fred Flintstone. "BARNEY, my Pebbles!"
