Now I know these are bullshit awards but if you did not watch this years show I suggest you do for one reason. Tom Cruise.Plus Xtina is awesome as usual and if that is her really singing then wow. The only other good moment of was the "Other Guys " Skit during best villain ,who I thought was spot on giving it to that guy.

It's been a paradox for me since 2003's brilliant openings with Andy Dick, Will Ferrell, and the hosts Timberlake and Sean William Scott. The thing is...it's so predictable now that they're going to do satirical things usually involving Ben Stiller & Co. that to me it's just a tired act. Yet I know it's probably still funny in some way...

What Cruise did was purely to reactivate his public image and promote his upcoming summer flick "Knight and Day". This was so calculating that it's kind of sickening. Les Grossman is a great character and just came out of nowhere. But using him again is so Focus Grouped that it diminishes how great that cameo was in "Tropic Thunder". You can just see that Cruise knew doing that would help his image; using it again is like going back and saying, "Hey Tom. You know what people liked? When you did that really obnoxious character in 'Tropic Thunder'. Helps people forget what a raving lunatic you are."

No thanks. I've been done with the MTV Movie Awards as a ceremony since '95, and done with their intros since '05.
