What a game by Peavy! Complete game shutout. Good lord these guys are pitching. Big Game Freddy tomorrow for the series sweep and road trip sweep. Oh yeah....AND THE .500 MARK!

Peavy really surprised me today. I'm sure seeing an NL team helps, but I was expecting 3 to 4 ER in 6 IP type of game where every inning was in jeopardy, and it started that way in the 1st inning, but he was on fire after that. Hopefully, this is the start of more, although I'm not on board with him yet, but definitely great to see him throw a complete game in that heat today.

Well, I guess that worked out, huh?
