The Score obviously knew who was coming to the tailgate. They set up in a primo tailgate position on the side of a hill in the shadow of a housing project. I felt like an ugly girl taken on a date to a dark theater in a far flung suburb.

In all seriousness, I had a great time. If Miller decided to donate more than a warm six pack, I could have stayed out there through the game. There was lots of good conversation but still plenty more to share. It did not feel awkward (except when Mitch was eyeballing me like I was some vagrant breaking into his club as I walked up), but instead more like a reunion.

If a man can be judged by the quality of the company he keeps, history will not look upon me kindly for that brief hour.
