Having read his comments, I've decided to reconsider my take on Joe Cowley.

I was slightly unsure before, but now I'm 100% certain he's a complete asswipe. It takes a special someone to put Chet in a more positive light than oneself, but ol' 'Jerkoff Joe' seems to have done a bang-up job.

I didn't see anything that Chet said, and now see that I must have missed BC saying Chet started it on Facebook (I've hinted at my dislike and avoidance of Facebook in another thread or two), so I obviously incorrectly assumed that Chet hadn't said anything and that Joe was just being an assbag for the sake of being an assbag - which incidentally is not totally out of character for him.

Having said that, could I again plead for a more complete overview of what everyone said? I mean, why start a fucking thread about what two people said without intending to post or at least recap what they said .... apparently that's asking a bit much on my part.

Cowley has been EXTREMELY critical of this years team, Reason. He's been tearing on the Sox all year to the point that only 2 people in the organization will talk to him. Jake Peavy (because they have a bromance) and Ozzie (because he'll talk to anyone). I love him but I hope he ends up eating a giant pile of crow along with a lot of other so called 'baseball experts'.

Chet is a completely bitter asshole. just about every one of his spurts of assholery on Facebook is either a news item from 30 years ago, a picture of him from 35 years ago with some dipshit athlete, or some kind of music reference from 40 years ago. Chet sucks, sucks, sucks, and is the most bitter POS I've ever seen. What an ass.
