Did you see when the camera zoomed in on Beckham after his first hit? He was yelling FUCK YOU! FUCK YOU! to someone in the dugout. He wasn't yelling it angrily but the camera just stayed on him. Hawk was caught off guard and tried to talk about the hit but you could tell he was a little flustered.

Gavin was lucky to give up only 3. He has to do something to stop having these blowup innings.

It would be nice to tack on a couple runs here and make things a little easier for the bullpen. It should be easier with Captain Tightpants on the mound.

Shesh. Pauly saved the game (so far) by making that great play. These guys ever hear of a 1-2-3 inning??

That other knob came in and threw five straight balls, so naturally the Sox brilliant strategy was to offer him a free out in order to help him settle in.

Whew! AJ throwing that runner out in the 9th was HUGE. Gavin ended up having a decent outing. Peavy has to bring his A game tomorrow against Mr Greinke. I miss Big Bobby.

It's really hard to tell which team has been in town since Wednesday and which team got in at 4:00am.

The Twins bullpen blew up again (7 ER in 8th inning). It's a nice night to get within 1 game of 1st place.

The last two guys in last night's lineup, Viciedo & Beckham, went a combined 0-for-7 with #15 striking out to end last night's 3-1 loss to Texas. Brent Lillibridge had a pinch-hit double last night for the Southsiders, and I wouldn't mind seeing him possibly give Beckham a breather at second tonight in the wrapup of this road trip. That being said, when Mark Teahen comes back from his broken index finger, who's the odd man out? I've got to think Viciedo may have to go back to Triple "A", especially because Ozzie can't seem to get enough at-bats for him and that Omar Vizquel has played a well enough third base to continue getting the majority of playing time there.

My girlfriend just said that she hasn't seen Beckham look so good at the plate in a while. I said, "Yeah, because that's Lillibridge."

Another nice series win, a 3-3 road trip and 1 game back of the Tigers and Twins! Buehrle was able to get through 7 and the bullpen shut the door again. Alexei is heating up with the weather and Kotsay is getting big hits. Keep it rolling at home this week against the Angels and Royals, Boys!

Another big win for the Boys. They stay .5 game behind the Tigers and move 2.5 games up on the 3rd place '27 New York Twins. Buehrle was awesome, AJ finally had a big night and there was another Andruw Jones sighting. Gavin needs to keep it rolling tonight to assure a series win and go for the sweep tomorrow with Daniel Hudson making his season debut.
