 Post subject: Carmelo being shopped...

So Disney Sports just told me Carmelo is being shopped if he wont re-up his deal this summer.

Where does he hypothetically go?

This is a player who the Lakers would consider grabbing. Id wish the Bulls could find a way to grab him, but they wont give up Rose to get him. If the Nets would give up Brook Lopez, Im sure they could land him. He'd kill in a Suns uniform.

Or where ever LeBron is going...

Idk... Brook Lopez and a 2011 1st round pick is enough. Apparently, the contract negotiations arent going so well. It is Disney Sports reporting tho.

OKC I was thinking Dallas too, but it would have to be a Dirk for Melo kind of deal. And regardless of what Ive speculated, I doubt Denver would want to move him to the same conference.

He's definitely got the Mavericks playoff pedigree. First round exits in 6 of 7 playoff appearances.

I wrote a while back, it was a shame Carmello resigned and wasnt part of this free ajent class, becuase I thought of all the stars of that class Mello would work best with D Rose.

Although I do have to agree with RPB. Initially Rose and Melo look like the best match, but when you think about it. You know LeBron will adapt to whoever he's playing with. The guy is not only the most talented athlete in the game but he's also intelligent. He'll figure out how to best play with a PG of Rose' talent.

They still only play with 1 Ball.

Im sure they would be good, but I think Melo and Rose would work perfectly
