I know he is suspended for the first 3 games but isn't he the kind of guy that Cutler loves? Wouldn't that extra time off help him learn the offense? The Bears have to try to upgrade that position.

I'm not crazy about signing a guy with 2 DUI's, but the Bears definitely need an upgrade at WR. For whatever reason, they have elected to pass on every available WR.

I don't know how he'd do in the spread offense and I've never been real impressed with him. What's his price tag?

He has the highest yards per catch of any player with at least 100 receptions over the past 2 years and 16 touchdowns. He is also the only player in the NFL that has increased his yards and receptions over past 4 years. He can spread the field and go up and get the ball. He wants a new contract too. A 3rd round pick could get him. He would probably cost about $35M over 5 years. Not a huge deal.

I think he is thinking he is Brandon Marshall and wants more and SD will too. I don't think he is worth that and I'm not ready to give up the 1 or 2 picks for awhile. He doesn't have his head on right either. No thank you.

My guess is the Bears won't find a 3rd round pick better than him. Also $7M for a stud receiver isn't a lot of money. Did you read my post about him? Devin fucking Hester makes more than that. Hester will never be half the player he is.

I don't think he is a stud receiver so I don't want to give him 7M (I think he wants way more). He makes shitty decisions on and off the field. He's no where near 100 catches and never has been. I'm not sure he could even post his 70 catches in Martz's offense.

So because we have a not so good receiver getting paid we should get another one? Hester got paid for returning the kicks and the possibilty of turning him into a receiver. Don't drag that silly ass move into it. I suppose you like when they keep paying defensive line men with injuries too and poor attitudes too.

Last year I was hoping Cutler could change them...this year I'm hoping Martz can. Think you're great and look forward to September.
