I suggest it be watched. What a cool idea...to do a marathon of the "John Adams" miniseries right on the even of July 4th.

Great miniseries...yes they missed a few things from the book. But they certainly captured the essence. And the performances are absolutely wonderful.

This miniseries put me to sleep. It took an incredibly interesting historical moment and, by filtering it through an elitist perspective, drained the life out of it.

the book is better; but the performances in the miniseries are top notch, and the narrative is well done.

Bad way to tell the story of the revolution and early republic.
