Does anyone remember such a lack of Bears talk this close to camp as there's been this year.

Is it lack of #1 draft choice to talk about?

Only one big offseason move?

The Blackhawks excitement?

THe LeBron James talk?

The Bears are a side story right now compared the the free agency hysteria that's swept the city and the nation. This is the greatest free agent talent pool in sports history and Chicago has a good chance of coming out a big winner.

The Sox will be grabbing headlines as they look to take over the AL central by the end of the week

The Cubs are not even worth discussing unless they start unloading after the break

The Hawks are still big news as they continue the Stanley Cup tour and shedding salary

The Bears really didn't make a huge splash in the offseason but talk will pick up once camp gets closer

Signing the #1 FA available doesn't count? Hiring a controversial OC doesn't count? I think they made a pretty big splash this offseason.

I think the Bears buzz will get here as soon as folks know what is going to happen with the Bulls. I think that is keeping most folks attention and when that clears up then people will give the Bears more attention.

I did hear from someone pretty reliable Cutler is squiring the sister of a player on the Cubs. But I've heard 2 different players. Theriot or Dempster.

If it's like his play on the field he's probably humping the air in between the two girls.

Last year everyone was still enthraled by Cutler.

Now we have just concluded a great playoff run by the 'Hawks and the Sox have decided to start playing baseball.

Personally I am happy that the Bears are either going to sink or swim this season. If they don't make a deep playoff run Angelose and Lovie will be gone. Either way I wil be happy.

You know I keep forgetting about Taylor.

Usually how much I'm into the Bears by now is in direct connection to how the Cubs are doing.

And on the flip side the 2007 Cubs spring training kind of snuck up on me because of the Super Bowl.

The Blackhawks/hockey have kept me occupied. It's filled up what is usually a long 6 months. I can't believe the start of the season is only 2 months away.
