You guys are something. If one of your friends called you up and said, "Hey a bunch of us are going to this bar tonite...there's a band and its $35 all you can drink, you want in?" those of you that actually have friends would say yes. I guess I'm just glad that I have a group of friends that actually like to do things like this and have fun.

$35 for all you can drink + all you can eat + music is actually a pretty good deal even if you don't know who the band is.

Most live music has a cover charge anyways and drinks are $4-$8 a piece.

If you have more than 2 drinks you are getting a pretty good deal.

Well walkrman, I guess either you're a loser or I'm a dork. Because there have been many times where a group of friends have paid a flat fee to drink all night, and made a big deal about it. Why? Because we get our money's worth of booze, and we get to hang out and have fun all night.

But you know, I guess some people don't like to do that. Chocolate, vanilla.

I think Mitch has figured out that SCORE parties are a good way to promote the station so he's gonna try to celebrate any and everything he can. Plus Spiegs gets to promote his band. That seems like part of his deal at the SCORE. Every time they mention his tribute band it's like a free commercial for him.

And I'm fine with all of it. Let's just not abuse the phrase "major announcement."

True. If I select an NFL Coach, his team wins the Superbowl. Same goes for a golfer with The Masters. I'm in the vetting process right now of deciding on which NFL Coach will be chosen for "Woodridge Ryan 2011" cover. Meanwhile, I'm giving some love to the movie Up I saw a couple weeks ago. Was as good as advertised by the Academy Awards.
