Mac is gone on the day of the MLB All Star game! This show is completely falling apart.

Perfect timing this year for his trip. The show is becoming established, Meat seems to be less bad...
Although Mac did promise to take me fishing, I am glad he has chosen this week.

Agreed. Of all days to take off? What a lazy, blowhard. I'm sure all your ALS'ers will run to his defense!

Meat still blows. When did he adopt the fake David Letterman cackle?

this is preferred over the "Un-oiled screen door hinge" laugh he had before. Like saying "Ah" while inhaling instead of exhaling.. you know.

It's weird because I've seen him as a fill-in on PTI and on The Sports Reporters, but his humor didn't really translate through that medium, but that segment was absolutely solid. What is his area of expertise? I remember him being pretty knowledgeable about football, but does he spray to all fields like Mariotti?

Football is probably his best area especially since he loves to remind people he won a state championship on the same high school team as Jeff George and he played at Ball State, but he is pretty knowledgeable about all the major sports. He loves to talk about the NBA and Golf. He is a good listen on just about every level from my experience.

eh, I thought he kinda sucked today. The Jim Gray joke was funny for about 10 seconds, there was no reason to keep yelling JIM GRAY for an entire 2 minutes. Even Goff got tired of it and tried to get him to answer an actual question. Other than talking about Jim Gray he really supplied no substance about his feelings on the Decision tv show.

Whitlock was great yesterday on the Score. I didn't realize that he went to Ball State.
Fire Spiegel immediatly & pair Whitlock with Mac!

Here's an interesting article on the controversial Whitlock:

Meatpant's is bad at radio. Without Mac snagging him on the cheap, Meat wouldn't stand a chance of landing a major market radio job if he had to stand on his own.
Since when do you have to meet someone to have an opinion?
I've met Berns & still think he's a tool.

Pretty sure he had his own show on SNR in major markets for awhile, and he was solo.

And he was bad.
A National syndication show doesn't really count as being a major market guy. If that's the case, every knucklehead on SNR, Fox Sports radio, & ESPN radio can be considered major market guys. It's ok if you are a Meatpants ALS'r. I just think he's brutal.

Glad that I have your approval.
To each his own, I am a bit biased or maybe not as objective I suppose.
