The movie brought in 60mil this weekend. I would be shocked if it makes a 3rd of that next weekend as word of mouth gets out. Nolan,it's summertime smartguy, keep it simple, stupid!

Other than here, I've not talked to/heard of a single person who didn't absolutely love this movie.

I loved it. Two and a half hours very well spent.

Hey Dan, To each's own. I'm glad you liked it.

Absolutely. I'm sorry you really didn't. I think this is going to be huge for the next few weeks especially with nothing major set to release. Wouldn't be shocked to see this get above 200 million comfortably

I really enjoyed it and the 2.5 hours went by fairly quickly. It was well paced, well written and although there was a lot going on and much to contemplate it never was confusing.

The concept itself was cool and I approved of Nolan not explaining in any detail how the dream machine worked as it was just a means to an end in the overall plot. Fight scenes were good, the acting was good, Leo did a wonderful Job playing Leo and Joseph Gordon Levitt was great as well. Solid cast.

The ending was well done too. Not really a cliff hanger or edge of your seat but it just made me think a little more than most movies do after the credits were rolling and I was strolling out of the theater. Getting into the nitty gritty and the ins and outs of the actual "Dreaming Machine", building dreams, who controls it, what happens when....etc etc is kind of a moot point for me as, within the context of the movie itself, it seems plausible.

And don't even get me going on the ass clown that brought his two kids to the movie. Between the kids and the five old women kibitzing in front of me, I was gonna go postal.

This should be the movie poster btw:

i saw this at the drive in yesterday. The screen is super dark so i can't account for the visuals as much but i really liked the movie.

yeah it was Leo in basically the same role as shutter island but like others i think it was a well balanced movie that didn't have parts that after the movie you look back and say it had unnecessary parts and shouldn't have been that long.

Like I said, I was at the drive in and laying in the back of my truck and tired as hell before the movie and it kept me entertained and awake for the entirety. 8.5 out of 10 overall

After sitting through Salt, and then suffering through "Funny People" this morning on Tivo - maybe Inception isn't that bad.

Perhaps my expectation level was too high. Yes the graphics are insanely cool - but I just didn't care for any of the 'character building or relationships' or the dreams to the 4th power BS.

"funny people" is one of the most unfortunate debacles of comedy films ever made.

Jonah Hill was the only funny person in the damned movie! He had some great lines, but with Sandler/Apatow/Rogan trio you'd think they could come up with something better. Also, I don't know why they had to make 'fake shitty' movies with Sandler in them - he's done some awfully bad ones in real life.

It was akin to two shitty movies awkwardly pieced together to form one. Kind of like a slickly marketed Reeses Peanut butter cup comprised of a hardened shit outer shell filled with puke.

Ken Watanabe would have been more enjoyable had he taken the dick out of his mouth too. Indecipherable dialog.

Went to see this last night and even though the concept was far fetched I enjoyed it.

Zackaria was right on witht the "To ask yourself at the end, was it a dream or reality--is asking the wrong question"

Did anyone else have any weird/crazy dreams after seeing this?
