For some reason the Score remotes drew a lot more people in the 1990's & early 2000's. I remember going to HFC remotes at Ron Santos restaurant & it was jammed with hundreds of people. Those were some good times.

There was one on Meacham just south of Algonquin in Rolling Meadows/Schaumburg (right on the border). That one closed in late 2000 if I remember correctly (I had a buddy that waited tables there)

I was there in about '98 or '99. Good waffle fries.

I was supposed to be out of town but plans changed. I might stop by for a beer early if anybody is going to be there by 5-6pm.

My Inner Sanctum of One has plans for the evening that involve Lego construction and vodka.

Remind me as it gets closer, and I will probably come up a little early.

How long have tickets for this boondoggle been on sale? The Score is still running dozen commercials each day for this event so obviously it isn't sold out yet. Get ready for lots of free ticket contests next week.

Beef may swing by on the way home from work, but seeing as I don't drink, I'm curtailing the eating, and I'm not a fan of bands that won't entertain 'turning into UFO' - $35 ain't gonna pop outta my wallet.

I'm a big fan of Mac's, but I have absolutely no desire to go to this event. I can picture the 6 or 8 CSFMB regulars standing in the front row pumping their fists in the air during the Tributasaurus performance. "Spiegel...you rock"!!!

i like mac. not really a spiegel guy though. but i was mostly just kidding around. as much as i'm not really into this thing (for one thing, it's far; the other, i have something else to do that night)--i do know what it's like to play in front of 2 people...

I texted the show Friday and asked them to play "She's a Rainbow" at the gig. They texted back (I was truly impressed) but said that song was a no-go because they won't have strings.
