Well, I've seen enough now to state definitively: the Bears will not win the Superbowl, because of Grossman. You can't win with a QB who is so mistake-prone.

ETA: that game was winnable. A good QB gets the win there; it'd be one thing if it was an anomaly for Grossman, but sadly, it's becoming the norm.

They should have rushed more, IMO (anything to keep Grossman from giving it to the Patriots).

grossman sure played poorly, but i believe you have to hang just as much, if not more, of the blame on the horrendous lack of a pass rush and the bears OLine protection of rex.

first 2 drives...rex had time, and the bears moved the ball almost at will. after that, rex was under constant pressure and they couldnt get anything done without a pass interference penalty.

im pretty sure i saw brady eating a sandwhich back there on a couple of plays. he had all year back there...


still, 9-2 is a nice place to be.
