5 games are left. They will go 4-1 at worst or 3-2 if that last Packer game doesn't mean anything and they rest players. So two home playoff games. Dallas will be the 2 seed.

Divisional round- Bears vs (Saints, Carolina, or Seattle). They will defidently win that game.

Championship round- Bears vs. Dallas. Tough game but I think the Bears defense can figure out Romo. They get this win.

Super Bowl- I'm convinced it won't be the Patriots after watching them the last few weeks. It will either be Indy or San Diego. To be honest I'd rather play San Diego. Either one will be tough but I like our chances against the Chargers.

I don't know if this would be a sure-fire win. Brees could potentially rip the defensive secondary to shreds...

these bears are gonna be like th 2005 white sox

i think they're gonna drop 2 more and finish 12-4, but still with the #1 seed. they'll get hot at the end of the year, blowout whoever they play in the divisional game, a convincing win in the NFC Champ game, and a close game in the super bowl where a late bear takeaway ices the victory, and the champagne.

Dallas has a pass rush. They also have receivers that can make plays.
They also have a much better defense than New Orleans.

But when it comes to thinking about possible AFC champs, don't count out the Raven. Defense wins championships. They've beaten San Diego once already, and that was before their offense was "fixed".

Good point about the Ravens. I shouldn't have dismissed them. Hell they could possibly get home field throughout. They are only one win behind the Colts. I would rather play the Chargers over them as well.

I know LT is great Nas. But I think LT could get 170 yards and two touchdowns against the Bears and the Bears could still win that game. I think Rivers would choke against the Bears defense and turn it over. I just think Manning could beat the Bears defense. Just my personal opinion.

Ravens don't scare me at all. They have a tough D, but I don't think they have the fire power on O to put up points on the Bears.

Urlacher is the only LB in the game that can some what contain LT. I think he would. If the Bears have the lead with less then 5 minutes and San Diego has the ball I think the Defense can hold them. If the Bears have the lead with less then 5 minutes I think Manning more likely to beat the Bears. I know Mannings history but he's gonna do it one year. I'm not saying the Bears can't beat them I just would rather face San Diego.

The Ravens would be the best possible opponent for the Bears in the AFC. Their power running game and bigger but not exceptionally fast receivers play into the Bear strenghts. The same is true for a team like Denver. I think the worst options would be Indy and SD.

But they could afford to do it against the Raven O. I think the Bear O v. Raven D matchup favors the Bears much more than the Raven O v. Bear D matchup favors the Ravens.

If the Bears played Dallas, Indy or San Diego tomorrow, I'm confident they'd get pasted. They really should have been destroyed last night, were it not for a truly extraordinary game in terms of getting turnovers by the defense.

i just wonder how different these games would be if the bears offense would stop fumbling in the red zone.

They would at best be 11-0? Which is only two losses better than what the team is now?

I'm pretty sure that if you told anyone in the City that the Bears would win 9 games in this division, then it would just be assumed that they make the playoffs.

I understand that the City has been waiting a LONG time for another Super Bowl, but I am apparently in the minority with my opinion of this being a hugely successful season, regardless of the final outcome.

aside from the record....i'm curious as to whether or not those missed opportunities opened the door for "bad" Rex instead of "good" Rex.

The Bears won't go anywhere unless Rex matures the final 5 games. I thought he was making progress after the Jets game, however he seemed to go back to "bad" Rex sunday afternoon.

Hopefully 5 more games facing the blitz will help him prepare for the playoffs. I am a fan of Rex and believe he will be a great quarterback. I just don't know if it will happen this year or a couple years down the road.
