More bad news for Chas. Angle says that HHH is one of best guys he was ever in the ring with (along with Shawn Michaels) and perhaps the best ring general and mind for the business today.

It isn't due out until 12/18, but I can wait. I have a feeling it will make for some great laughs for the male family members on Christmas.

That's the best news to come out of the E in a looooong time. Can't wait, I'll actually pay for the dvd which goes against my principle of giving $$ to Vince. Just watched the Steamboat dvd (doc part only). Not bad, not awesome though. Has some great Flair / Steamboat footage from Mid - Atlantic days in early 80's.

Oooooooooh shit...

Legendary manager Bobby Heenan, 65, suffered serious injuries in two separate falls in recent weeks. Heenan fractured his hip a few weeks ago when he fell down in his house, and then, while going through rehab at a care center, when trying to walk to the bathroom late at night on his own, his leg gave out and he fell, fracturing his pelvis and breaking his shoulder. Heenan will be undergoing shoulder surgery on 8/4. Heenan had fallen down a few times earlier but wasn’t hurt severely, but he’s in rough shape right now. He was scheduled to appear this coming week at the NWA Legends Convention in Charlotte, and even after the first fall had not canceled, saying he would be there in a wheelchair, but after the most recent fall, it was impossible.

Ah, geez. I keep hoping the guy's able to return, someday. I love his shoot interviews, especially the three with Corny.

My idea of a fun video would be those two and Percy Pringle...

Everytime I see a thread titled "Bobby Heenan" I'm scared to death it's gonna be in the R.I.P section. He's the last of his kind. I've always loved Piper, but he's a shell of his former self on the mic. I must watch his promos on Buzz Sawyer once a week. I'm to computer illiterate to post them, but there are some great Arn Anderson promos out there. He's always been one of my favorites, and I'll admit I laughed when Nash did his A.A parody. It did piss me off to hear how offended Arn was, but back then the NWO were well known for going into business for themselves.

Here's the 4 appearances Bobby made with Meltzer on his old radio show. The first one is one of the best i've ever heard. also has Don Frye, Frank Shamrock and caller questions. Instead of the usual bs interview questions you've heard 1,000 times, callers ask questions so there's tons of new heenan one-liners I had never heard before. dave says this is his favorite show of all time.

This is one I don't mind spending the money for. If for nothing else then to try to spur Vince to put out more stuff like this.

I did that for the release of the Jeff Jarrett DVD. The 327 lb security guy, obviously sporting a goatee, punched me before I got through the door. I had a moment of reflection, realizing I obviously needed that punch more. I drove to the next town's Best Buy and picked it up, but I still thought about stuff.
