On Discovery. Premise is that there is some airborne deadly disease, and we are in a disaster lockdown mode. They shipped seven people after quarantine for 72 hours to prove they don't have the disease. Using some of the abandoned areas from Katrina, and these guys were basically left alone with about a weeks worth of supplies. They had some raiders come in and pepper spray them and steal a lot of their stuff which was pretty cool. One guy is working on weapons to defend their base now. Pretty cool look at what life might be like (yes, they take some liberties.)

If the point of the show is to survive, then what the hell do you do with the people raiding their colony? I am sure you can't physically harm them, which would probably be the plan if this were real. So they just say "hey, come take all our stuff because we can't defend ourselves per our contract"?

If you can find it, the first season of this show was cool. The people were in a blocked off area in LA. Their "home" was an abandoned warehouse. They dealt with raiders stealing their food and stuff. One of they weapons they made was a flamethrower they used to blow up a car.
