That reminds me. When I coulnd't watch the Hawks because of sucktitude and because I hated Wirtz with a passion, I changed teams for a while. Chose The Flyers.
Maybe I ought to find another team to root for. An American League team so as not to completely infringe on my Cubs love.
I was thinking of the Twins. They're close. They're almost always good. They play good ball.

I like the Twins myself but when I tell people that and they know i'm a Cubs fan, they think of it as just being a jackass and rooting against the White Sox. Couldn't be farther from the truth.

Yeah, I really don't care much at all about the Sox, that wouldn't be the reason. Despite being a Cubs fan I really do like GOOD baseball. And they seem to put a quality product on the field every day, season after season.

The Yaz story with Yaz like a cat was pretty funny. Hawk said that Perkins should be nailing his teammates when he left the game. Viciedo should be heading to AAA immediately, he is swinging at everything in sight; no wonder he has no walks. Danks was good in the game, getting out of jams and making good pitches.

On an somewhat-related note: I am watching on WGN America so please avoid this if you did not see the commercial but that commercial for the Piranha movie always reminds me of the Twins just because of Ozzie calling them the Piranha's.
