That doesn't bode well for the bullpen. Not that Putz won't do a good job, but that re-slots all the rest of the pitchers. That may be problematic for the rest of the year.

Per the Ranger, Teahen is coming back, so now all will be well...

He is now bitching about getting his car towed. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy, a Cardinal fan and a Sock fan. He deserves it.

Dayan Viciedo, who did absolutely nothing as the impromptu DH the last couple of nights with Andruw Jones out with a sore back, was officially optioned to Triple "A" Charlotte after last night's latest loss to the Twins. Mark Teahen rejoins the White Sox tonight vs. the Tigers at U.S. Cellular Field. Mark better learn how to play second, first and right field now that he's back on the active roster. I think we've seen the last of Teahen at third base...

He'll be called back up when rosters expand on Sept 1. I hope they told him to work on his plate discipline while he's back in the minors. 0 walks in 82 plate appearances isn't going to get it done.

Keyser, Dayan certainly angered Hawk when he hit one deep to center with the bases loaded in his first at-bat. Harrelson yelled "Daggummit!" as soon as the ball landed in Denard Span's mitt.
