Everyone who was screaming for Putz to be the closer there you go. God damn it they have to get Bobby healthy.

The White Sox have a big problem. Besides the offense's inability to score runs, J.J. Putz didn't exactly give me a lot of confidence he can close games if Bob Jenks is indeed headed for the disabled list. With the Sox losing a game like this tonight in the top 9th with Alex Avila(?) hitting a two-run homer to give the Tigers a 3-2 comeback win, I'm not very confident Putz can get the job done in a save situation if Jenks is indeed DL'd.

And to top it off the Twins win and are now up 2 games.

Freddy certainly has better stuff today than he did in his last outing. Hopefully the offense can get him a half dozen runs and they can get out of here with a series win.

That should have been a hit and an error on Beckham. No reason to try to bare hand that ball. Field it with your glove and prevent that second run from scoring.

Cabrera better have a drink It seems none of the Hispanic players are very good at the hit and run

No I didn't. He didn't set the bar very high by only going 2.1 and giving up 6 against the Twins. 3 runs (should be 2) in 4 innings is a step up.

Slowey has a no hitter through 5.1 in Minnesota.
