I couldn't agree more, Reason. The closer role is so goofy you're better off keeping the guy who has a proven track record over throwing someone new in the fire and hoping for the best.

I know, it's the damnedest thing. I hate how much of a baseball season depends on a bunch of pitchers who weren't good enough to be starters.

He may have won a ton of games but with the steroid use on his teams and his BULLPEN have made the game worse. I hate Tony LaRussa.
