The Sox were in position to win the last two games but the bullpen let them down. I have no idea why Ozzie didn't bring in Thornton to face Damon in the 8th. Putz had nothing AGAIN. The starters and offense need to pick it up in Minnesota.

Ozzie has a big problem as his team faces the Twins tomorrow through Thursday in Minneapolis. With Bob Jenks likely headed for the DL with back stiffness and J.J. Putz blowing save ops in the last 2 games vs. the Tigers, I'm wondering right now who Ozzie goes to in a possible save situation tomorrow night. In my opinion, Matt Thornton should be this team's closer until Jenks is fully healthy. As it stands now, Ozzie's bullpen has been overworked & very unsettled since Putz saved the August 7th game in Baltimore and speculation started about Jenks and his back.
