That means the Bears will lose 24-17

Could you post the mathematical formula that led you to that hypothesis?

But Bear weather appears to be more than just local football pop culture. Irrespective of their overall team quality, or lack of same, the Bears have had a better home record in December than overall record in nine of their last 11 seasons. They have won their last five against Minnesota in Illinois, including the Champaign game in 2002.

-Chicago Tribune, December 2, 2006

I was surprised.

I'm setting the over/under for the number of times the announcing crew says the phrase "Bear Weather" at 5.5.

10 day forecast from Weather.com shows next weekend's weather to be around freezing with SNOW.

You know what that means if those pansies from Dallas come to town with their tans and warm weather blood...

The over/under is also 5.5 for how many times they mention the "blue collar fans".

Now that the whole Bear Weather thing has been debunked and is no fun anymore, I've decided to embrace a new myth that I've created of...

REX GROSSMAN WEATHER.

I fully expect that the freezing temps and snow next weekend play right into our hands because that's REX GROSSMAN WEATHER and we love it!

You can't beat Grossman in weather like that. He doesn't plant his feet anyway so poor footing gives him an advantage. He's used to it.

i dont quite remember where i read this last nite, but the coldest game the saints have played this year is a 52 degree contest against the giants.

bear wheater is sort of a myth, but if thats the coldest game they've dealt with this year, its gonna be a rude awakening for them come sunday

BEARSSSSSSSSS!!

I reiterate...

REX GROSSMAN WEATHER

REX 1-0 IN REX WEATHER.

Clouding over with light southwest winds boosting daytime highs back into the 30s. Bears/Saints game wind chills: mid 20s.

Sure sounds like sexy weather to me!

Bear Weather died on Dec. 19, 2004. Where were you on that day?

The Bears were busy getting it handed to them by the Houston Texans. For the record, it was frickin freezin that day on the lake.

That same day, SD Chargers won @ Cleveland and Jaxonville won @ Green Bay.

The Bear Weather people are the same crowd that wanted Zorich to LB and think Linda S. was born a woman.

I beg to differ Good Doctor. I enjoy a dry martini as much as the next chap.
I take the Churchill approach, just show the bottle of vermouth to the gin. I like mine a little dirty though.
