There are some GBV fans here, so I figure there may be some interest in Dayton's second great band, Swearing At Motorists. (No, they don't sound like GBV.)

They've released a free web-only album--- acoustic demoes, more or less, recorded in a Berlin train station. Great sound. It's right here.

Their site hosts a live show every once in a while, usually in mp3 format. The current one is in FLAC, which is just fine with me (if you have the latest winamp you can play it, and there are plugins for media player, etc.) The show's from November 2000, and much more 'rock' than the above album. Soundboard recording, mostly excellent save a little overfeed here and there. Linkage is here.
