It's not looking too good...Dr. Frasier Crane & Doug Hefferan from "The King of Queens" are warming up in the bullpen and will follow the White Sox/Twins' game on 'CIU if this score holds...

9 White Sox in a row retired, Keyser, and Matt Capps awaits Ramirez, Beckham & Pierre in the 9th. Paging Dr. Frasier Crane...

 one pitch after a fastball under the chin? Ok.

Anyway - Hawk has actually reached the level of potentially being a negative factor to the team on the field. He just called for Young to get "hit in the earhole with a Rawlings". He has actually lost the ability to separate himself from what's going on down on the field - Williams, or Boyer, or Reinsdorf need to do that for him.

No doubt about it. But Hawk needs to shut the hell up. Pretty sure Ozzie knows how to take care of himself.

If the White Sox take the lead, who gets the save opportunity in the bottom 9th?

Would be real nice to get both of those runs in.

Frank, I wouldn't mind if Paulie cleared the bases with a slam. He's been money in the bank all year.

Well the Cubs lost again, but that's nothing new. Maybe the caviar is affecting them?

If this ballgame goes extra innings, Kurtwood "Red" Smith, Ashton Kutcher and "That '70s Show" start to warm in the WCIU bullpen. Kurtwood Smith, of course, voiced those "Grinder" commercials the year the White Sox won the bundle in '05.

Working hard on it. I've only paid for tickets once this year, and those were from a scalper. In my defense, by the time I get off work and get down to the park, it would be about 8 for weeknight games, and most of the weekend schedule has been disappointing (translation: if I ever see a Baltimore or KC game again, it will be too soon).

That said, I have watched a good chunk of almost all the games this year (especially weeknight games), but JORR will probably still not consider me a real fan.
