Would that have been a cheap play as well if AJ did it?

Yes.

Young #1 went right for AJ rather than the plate and #2 went for the head instead of shoulder to the gut to knock the ball loose.

It was a dirty play no matter who did it and no matter who it was against.

I think Young was gonna rail him and kinda got caught in between because A.J. was upright. At that point I think he was just doing an A-Rod type bitch slap to try and knock the ball out.

I dont think his idea was to fuck up A.J.

Thats fine, and Young could have dropped his shoulder, plowed him over and given AJ a much better shot than he did yesterday.

Yeah that seems to be the thing in all of this...Young ended up looking worse cause AJ wasn't where he thought he was going to be so he pretty much whiffed on the forearm. If you are going to take a cheap shot at someone at least make it count.
