That's the thing with me. I like DaMaNaaa as a person and the couple of times I've met him, I thought he was cool. But his shows (this one and the one on ESPN) are just way too "middle-agey" to me. I can't relate to him.

Early on in the MJH years, Jurko was the youth injection (I'm talking first couple of years). He would try and introduce Mac and Manilow to newer bands (and I use the term newer loosely), but after a couple of years, he really just became asleep at the wheel.

One thing I can say, is that I became a much bigger Mac fan after following him on CSFMB and meeting him at remotes.
That's one thing that's changed. Mac's been big timin us a bit. I still like the show, but I don't think I'm as dedicated to it as I was before. His absence has also shown up in thread counts in his section as well. Sure it turned into an insult session once in a while but to stop coming back and face some of the criticism lends to the "Northification" reasoning.
I dare say that Mac's greatest relevancy and ratings coincided with the Man of the People thing that he had going on during his heyday at ESPN (and also CSFMB :wink:

).
Mac's moving away from that.
Moved away from the board.
Charged $35 for admission :wink:

but still...
It's there. I hope I'm wrong. For the time being I do like the show still.
