We are proud to announce and be a part of the celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Chicago Bears Super Bowl XX Championship!

GLORY DAYS ‘Legends of the Chicago Bears’ will bring together COACH MIKE DITKA, RICHARD DENT, WILLIE GAULT, JIM MCMAHON, DAN HAMPTON, GARY FENCIK and most of the teammates of the 1985 CHICAGO BEARS TEAM for an evening of storytelling as they celebrate the 25th Anniversary of their monumental win at Super Bowl XX. GLORY DAYS ‘Legends of the 1985 Chicago Bears’ will showcase the personalities, the excitement, and the funny and heartwarming stories that every sports fan remembers – and stories they’ve never heard before.

GLORY DAYS
‘Legends of the 1985 Chicago Bears’

NOVEMBER 5, 2010
Arie Crown Theatre, McCormick Place
7:30 P.M.

As a valued Chicago Bears Season Ticket Holder, we are delighted to extend an exclusive offer to you to purchase tickets to this event before they go on public sale on August 28th. There are a limited number of seats available. Please act quickly if you want to attend this event.

Tickets and VIP Packages are on sale now exclusively to Chicago Bears Season Ticket Holders. Tickets range from $49.99 to $199.99.

Some reasons to attend:

Will LA Mike will be sprung from the joint in time for the festivities?
Image

Are they going to let Hamp drive to the event .... or speak? Not sure which is more dangerous.

Wait a minute ... whose music is that??? It's Stone Cold Steve Austin - he's jumped on stage and stole the Lombardi Trophy right out of McMichael's hands!! It's bedlam!

Will McMahon wear shoes? Or show any class?

Will Gale Sayers show up and tear up a picture of Walter Payton ala Sinéad O'Connor and the Pope on SNL?
Image

If someone could guarantee this things happen, I might attend.

I am embarrassed to admit that I am actually interested in attending this event. Glorious!

As a Bears fan, all I can do is revel in the passed.

Nothing wrong with that at all.

I must've missed it, but what did Mike Richardson do?

I strongly object to this misuse of the word "glory" and, by implication, its cousin "glorious." Winning twenty-seven (27) World Series Championships is, by definition, "glorious." Winning one (1) Super Bowl, with this 1985 roster, is not only "not glorious," it is "disappointing."

This reminds me of the time that Regular Reader attempted to use the term "glorious" to describe his son's little league team. After I got done laughing for almost one (1) hour, I felt compelled to sternly lecture him. It also reminds me of that famous incident at the Brown Derby when Tom Arnold approached Sir Laurence Olivier and drunkenly attempted to argue that his role as Jackie Thomas on "The Jackie Thomas Show" was on par with Olivier's King Lear. Olivier chuckled mightily, much like one might expect The Glorious New York Yankees to laugh, if they could.
