I open the Trib to see that Mich paid for an ad to congratulate Mac on 25 years in radio. He throws him a "1 year anniversary party". Who throws 1 year anniversary parties? He hired Mac twice - at ESPN 1000 and at the Score. He allowed Mac to choose Spiegel as his parnter and he lets Mac's friend, Vandy sub on the show. Mac really has Mitch wrapped around finger.

I think it's safe to say that Mac will be at the SCORE as long as Mitch is the GM.

By the way, Mitch paying for that Trib ad should make you more upset that he charged for that anniversary show. It shows the SCORE has money to piss away. Why not skip the ad and let listeners in the party in for free? That would have been money better spent.

Mitch also ran a "Congratulations, Dan McNeil" spot for Mac when he wrote that book with Ed Sherman. B&B had fun with that. C'mon, Mitch does like to find ways to celebrate Dan McNeil any chance he gets. You guys can't deny that. He really does love him. Good for Mac. He's endeared himself to the boss. This wasn't meant to be an insult. Just an observation.

Who wouldn't like to work for a passive hands off Manager like Rosen? That's not my style though...
