Walter was assistant hoops coach at Hoffman Estates HS in the '90's while I was on the Soph team. For the little time I knew him, he was one of the nicest guys I ever met. :D

No, but it was my best friend's brother-in-law.

I believe they found it in a couch while moving.

My favorite Walter story:

My dad was at a Bears charity golf outing many years ago. Walter was also there and he befriended my dad and the members of his group (as I'm sure he often does at these events). By all accounts, Walter is a great guy.
The event is a shotgun start. Walter went outside while everybody was in the clubhouse and unfastened every single golf bag on all of the golf carts (including his own) EXCEPT for my dad's and his partner's. When the gun went off, everybody started to drive away and their bags flew. Everybody blamed my dad and his buddy, but Walter was in stitches when it happened...
