Last week Panther totally flaked out as a guest host, so we have to select two winners this week. Please remember to vote for 2. Two is the number of the voting, and the number of the voting shall not be 3. 4 and 5 are right out, as is 1.
Our last DB winner was none other than Brett Favre for sending not-so-sexy pictures of his… off field activities. Yuck. Congrats Brent, you’re going to join the other weekly winners in the Semifinals of the Former Gov. Rod R. Blagojevich Douchebag of the Year. We’ll see you in a couple weeks. Turd.
Ok, here’s your week 35 and 36 nominees:
DeVry University: C_Howitt_Fealz will travel the world first class, munching on baby crab legs, caviar, and Dom Perignon, but when it comes to a Masters “for the hell of it”, he decides to slum it with the rest of us by getting a federally subsidized student loan, and finds that the people running said program are probably just like everyone else in the American workforce. Incompetent. So Fealz nominated them, having never had to deal with such trivial matters before. Is he right?
Phantom Posts: Krazy Ivan is either seeing things or posts are disappearing. Call it the 1pm Boarduma Triangle. You see a post. You click the post. Then it says the post didn’t exist. But how could you have clicked it to reach the destination that said it didn’t exist if it didn’t exist? I mean, if it didn’t exist, could you ever reach a destination that says that the destination does not exist? And if you DO click it, and you do reach a destination, isn’t that proof that it has a destination, and thus exists? Did I smoke too much before putting this thought to words?
Jim Gray: You know this guy. Remember how he used to ask really uncomfortable questions and pretty much everyone he talked to looked like they wanted to break his little smug face? Well he’s at it again. Ugueth Will Shiv You tells us the story about how Gray, quoting some dude named Hawkins, quoting Pavin as having said he would bring Tiger on Rider Team. But then we hear Pavin said no such thing. Is Gray making shit up? Is Hawkins lying to Gray? Did any of this make any sense?
Barry Sanders: rogers park bryan nominated Barry Sanders for talking about what “he could have done”. I guess this was his way of saying Emmit Smith was better because he could handle the on and off field stresses better than Sanders, even if he wasn’t quite as gifted a player. I think. This thread got weird when Shakes had made several wild ass claims, like seeing every play that Sanders ever participated in forgetting what year it was that he was accused of the mass murder of 7 people in Palatine. Think I’m kidding? Nope. Check it out.
Jenny-the-snitch who quit her job and sold out her fmr boss: You guys remember Jenny, the cute little scammer who made up some stupid story about quitting a job over a dumbass boss? Yup she was douchebagged by NearWestSideHussra before we learned it was a hoax. Since it was an attention whoring bullshit job, this gives her even more douchebag credibility in my opinion. So what do you say, CSFMB, is she a douchebag?
The Cop Dating A Woman in my Complex: Nominated by Original Kid Cairo for taking up prime parking lot real estate with his cruiser. Chances are if she was dating a clown or something, his VW bug would be parked there all the time too, so we can assume that it’s probably not the fact he’s a cop that causes this douchebag nomination. Perhaps this guy is dating a girl that Cairo was sweet on. Or maybe he was sweet on the cop. Or that he was sweet on that sweet spot in the lot. Anyway, if this cop is a douchebag for any of the reasons above, go on and vote for him.
Oh Fuck: An interestingly worded Good Dolphin nomination of the Bears All Access show. This turns, naturally, into a bash Zack Zaidman thread. Granted, most listeners, players, posters, and Score hosts find him ridiculous as it is when he’s just bringing nuggets and silly sideline reports. Can you stand a whole show of the ginger haired doofus? Dolphin can’t. And here we are, with ZZ basically competing with some serious douchebags for the week. Does he get your vote?
Traffic Court: tmurf423 got a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt and failure to have proof of insurance. Going to court to prove he had insurance, he got nailed for $100 anyway. Court Costs. Egg Management Fees. So, even though he was innocent of the charges, he had to basically pay a fine to prove he hadn’t committed a crime. Does this make our Traffic courts douchebags? Take it to the mattresses, Chicag!
Tony Dungy: Nominated by Irish for criticizing Rex Ryan for using bad language around grown men. It seems that Dungy is still a judgmental, preaching prick. Tony Dungy is a foremost expert in all things perfect, from parenting to coaching, and he takes telling other people what they did wrong as some type of personal mission. Is this douchebagworthy? You tell them, Chicago!
Dr. Laura Schlessenger/Fox News/El Reno Officers: Nominated by Nas, Dr. Laura has gotten the attention of the Chicago Sports fan message Board for his use of the fabled N word something like 13 times, which is not accidental at that point. Dr. Laura claimed it was therapeutic to hear that word many, many, many times. Do you feel better, Chicago?
The White Sox: Kid Cairo is done after game 1. He’s not going to watch them anymore. He’s aware that Freddy Garcia maxed out earlier and likely has nothing left. But is it too early to jump ship? I mean, they’re only 4 games down and Kid Chicken Little is already freaking the fuck out. Or could be he ahead of the curve? I mean, they’re 4 down with something like 40 games remaining, and they’ve got some tough series ahead of them. What say you, Chicago?
The holdouts on the blago jury: Deacon Blues believes that the jury is full of great big stupidheads and idiots and it’s their fault that the State must spend a fortune retrying Blago. He also seems to hate the American Criminal Justice System. Deacon wants a hanging. He might get it too, at the next trial. But could he be right? Is it possible that the Jury SHOULD have found him guilty? Hard to say without knowing all the details on what was admissible and what was not, but that never stopped us before Chicago!
