What a fun game!! Both teams blew opportunities to score more. The Sox loading the bases and coming up empty....the Yankees doing the same, as well as leading off the 8th with a runner on 2nd and nobody out and then Swisher fails to advance the runner to 3rd and strikes out....Sad. Nice to see Kerry Wood, but he wasn't particularly sharp. Nove has one hell of a breaking ball. Sox hitters were missing it by a foot. that ball was dropping off the table. Nice to see Riviera contribute and get his first save in a couple months. Not surprised the Yankees won the series, but I did expect a sweep. Now the Sox get Boston I expect more of the same.
