Most knowledgeable fans have been calling for his head since 2007. The guy has no creativity. He does not have the capacity to adapt to the players he is given. Not that Jerry gives him the best talent mind you, but a good coach adapts to the players he has.
This is gonna be a long season.

They should be calling for it already. He should have been gone last year, but he had too much money left on the contract. His training camp is a joke. Wins and losses don't mean anything in the pre season, but when the starters are out there they should be going 100 percent and things should be clean and crisp by game 3. You don't just go through the motions and half ass everything and expect to magically become an efficient and cohesive unit on week 1 of the regular season. There should be some shared embarrassment by both the staff and players after last season. You can have fun while working hard, but some of these guys looks like they're just fucking off and jack-a-lacking around while remaining extremely arrogant. This is his ship so all of this is a reflection of him.

normally i'd say the lions are basically like your 5th preseason game...but i got a feeling about them this year for some reason. they won't make the playoffs or anything i don't think...but they may put up a fight.

Lovie should have been fired at the end of last season! Calls for his firing should have began in 07. Jerry and the rest of the front office asswipes also should have been fired as well. The whole sorry spectacle has left a bad aftertaste. Unfortunately it has carried over into this season as well. I can't recall the last time I was I was this down on a bears team. Very little excitement for the ensuing crap fest all bears fans are about to be subjected to.... and without a nice high draft pick they will ultimately turn over to Denver(not that I believe they would actually draft a good player). OH boy its gonna be a long year....

I think the North could be the best division in the NFC.

If we bring in Cowher now, we could still save the season.

I see the NFC North with the Vikes & Pack in the playoffs & the Lions & Bears under .500. The NFC East is still the best division in the NFC, with Dallas, NY, & Philly.

Dont forget about his penchant for bringing in over the hill former players like Archie, Pace & Harris.

I think the NYG and Philly are on there way down. Defenses aren't what they used to be. Reid is turning into Martz. Coughlin sucks. I think the North could be the best this year.

Washington will be a better team than Philly and the Giants will miss the playoffs.

Well according to Irish boy Reason, Lovie, being a head coach, spends 20 hours a day on football. So how could us meatball fans possibly decide if its time for him to go or not? we cant possibly comprehend the game the way he does therefore any opinion rendered has no validity.

With the labor problems on the horizon, I've heard that no teams want to go into the lockout season without a head coach. Even going 3-13 might not be enough to get rid of him.

They were last year... he is terrible. This entire team is a major joke, I have lost a ton of interest in football and the Bears over the past few years.
