Why did you hold a grudge against the three-fingered groundskeeper at Yankee Stadium for eight years? Do you ever get tired of telling that story?

What story is that? Does Pat Hughes & Ronny know it?

That was at least the third time I've heard it. It seems like he's still pissed that his mom's twenty didn't get him into Yankee Stadium on an off day when he was a kid. And the three fingered thing is like a joke where the punch line never comes.

Maybe the other two fingers went somewhere that Farmio would rather not talk about.

Is he trying to come off sympathetic in that story?

Should the guy have risked his job for a Tall 11 year old?

I didn't hear this story, but what the hell was he doing at Yankee Stadium? Every chance he gets he tells us how he is from the Southside, went to St Rita, etc.

His dad was sitting shiva for a Jewish friend in NYC and his mom took him and his two brothers to Yankee Stadium. The team was out of town or it was the off-season, but they wanted to see it anyway. His mom supposedly told a three-fingered groundskeeper that Farmio was going to play there one day and offered the guy a twenty to let them in. He said he couldn't because he'd lose his job.

Years later Farmer came there with his first MLB team and he was coming in from the bullpen. He noticed the guy driving the bullpen car had three fingers so he asked if he remembered him. Farmer said, "You wouldn't let me in." The three-fingered man replied, "Well, I'm taking you in now." Farmer said, "The hell you are!" and jumped out of the car and walked to the mound.

How many warm up pitches did he throw?

He just mentioned Jesse White, and of course the organ donor program.

He then said that "Illinois leads the country in organ harvesting"

It isnt often I am happy I live in IN, but the roaming gangs of organ harvesters are a great reason not to live in IL.

Oh sure, you can go ahead and laugh at organ harvesting until Jude Law points a 44 Magnum in your face and demands a replacement for his tiny penis.
