MiniDitka - I kept switching between WSCR & the "official" WBBM postgame & that's a complete bore with Joniack & Thayer & Gleason & Zaidman. So count your blessings - WSCR is a milllion times better even if Doug & OB are cranky.
WBBM sample #1: Joniack & Thayer were apologizing for some of their hilites "not sounding very enthusiastic" when they thought the Bears were gonna lose.
WBBM sample #2: While interviewing a calm & boring Olin Kreutz we get Zack suddenly jumping in with "And you get a $200 gift treatment at Mario Tricoci Salons." - HOW GEY.

Doug is fine, but OB sucks. He adds nothing, he is the Ed Farmer of football, tells you stuff you already knew.

Did anyone hear Buffone after I think it was the Miami game? He opined in his loud, somewhat angry voice, "Grossman couldn't hit the ass of a bull with a banjo!" I had my kids and Uncle in the car (we were driving home from the game) and we all about died laughing. Definitely more lively than 'BBM's postgame.

Doug, it's called the end zone !

I don't mind Doug and OB being critical of the team. In case you haven't noticed, there's been a lot to criticize on offense. They obviously care about their team and have that paper tiger feeling that a lot of us have.

These guys carried us through the Jauronstedt years, they are local heroes

A Doug & OB Drinking Game based on "goddamned" and "hell" would have you knocked the f out in 45 minutes. I love the show for this reason. They sound like two pissed-off guys in a bar.

I would love to hear Doug and OB on satellite radio. Make sure the kids are not in the room.
