It was in the MLB Forum, Nyjer Morgan thread. Good Dolphin posted a picture of a fictional map of Niger, with the capital city being Please.

The post was there for about thirty (30) seconds, and I didn't even get a chance to read it. I think Rogers Park Bryan did.

But your habit of adding nothing and making only personal remarks/references instead is annoying and counter-productive to the discussion. You and Irish Asshole come to the thread and add nothing to the discussion of the Sox chances at the wildcard. You don't respond to the actual theories/opinions offered. Instead it's just mindless bullshit. So fuck off.
So the answer is "no".

It was nice to see you calling a different ethnicity/race names though.

Did you catch his post on the origin of The N word (sorry JORR)before it was deleted?

Quite the lesson
Did he really? I missed it but did see someone mention about some "pruning".

I don't know why this is considered such a long shot

The Twins (ignoring home/road) have a relatively easy schedule remaining. Toronto to finish is really the only team I'd consider 'tough' at all and they (Jays) won't have anything to play for

The Rays, meanwhile have:
2 remaining @ Boston
3 @ Toronto
3 vs. Yankees
3 vs. Angels
4 @ Yankees
3 vs. Mariners
3 vs. Orioles
4 @ Royals

The last 3 series are definitely winnable, but the next 15 games are against very good opponents (including the Angels since while they're not great they're still a tough team)

It's very possible the Rays could struggle in these 15 games. While you do have 3 head to head games left vs. the Twins you basically have to hope for one of the teams to collapse/fade a bit, and based on the schedules it seems more likely that's going to be the Rays

SO OVER THE NEXT 15 GAMES THE SOX CAN MAKE UP 6.5?????????? SO WHILE THE RAYS WIN 7 of 15, the SOX WILL WIN 14 of 15????????

THEN AFTER THAT HAPPENS THE SOX WILL HAVE A BETTER RECORD IN THE FINAL 10 GAMES THAN THE RAYS WILL HAVE v MARINERS, ROYALS and BALTIMORE???????

AND YOU DON'T THINK THIS IS A LONGSHOT TO HAPPEN??????

I am missing a lot of the going on of this board lately even in response to my own posts.

Except for the Colorado Rockies taking the wildcard by winning 14/15 down the stretch -and the tiebreaker with the Padres (while the Padres dropped 6 of their final 10..a huge key) I dont remember this happening in the last few decades. If you consider all the races in the past 3-4 decades and how many teams have managed such a feat (1 that I can think of)) it is a longshot to say the least.

I never said it would be "easy"

Yes, it's a longshot

Only saying it's "possible" since the Rays have a very tough schedule. Yes, I could see them getting swept by the Yankees while the Sox sweep the Royals, and so forth. It's not realistic but it's not beyond the realm of possibility either

What do you expect from a guy who would put good ganja in a cheap, fruit-flavored cigar wrapper?

Since I made that post, the Rays have gone 3-2 and still have 5 left vs. the Yankees and 3 vs. LAA.

I'm not sure what your point is...my point was that the Rays could falter. And of their tough stretch they've only played 5 of the 13 games so we don't really know yet

Obviously any playoff scenario that had the Sox in it required the Sox to you know, win, so if that's your only point then you're an idiot.

The odds of the Sox making the playoffs in any fashion is listed as 1.1 %.

Not really...

It's almost too bad the Sox fell out of it so soon. I was thinking of finally creating a mult and calling it "Aggravating Sox Fans"
