Also, Cutler showed zero crispness on his passes. Never got that feeling that one was "zipped" in there. That may be that he is nervous about throwing to spots instead of people, and it will take him some time to learn to gauge speed and accuracy in this scheme. Could be very painful if the running game doesn't keep them out of trouble like they did with the screens yesterday.

I saw Aromashadu drop at least 2 of Cutler's passes that were apparently Zipped.

Maybe he understands where to be, but he needs to hold on to the ball

He definitely should have had that TD grab early in the game. Other than that he
showed some flashes of being potentially a decent WR. Long way to go yet.

It wasnt even just one.

He had two first downs where the ball popped out because he was hit by a corner or safety.

23-35 for 372 yards 2 TDs and a 108.3 QB rating and you are worried about "crispness"? This was one of the best days ever for a Bears QB.

The Aromashadu drop and the 35 yard pass down the Lion sideline to Knox were two gorgeous throws. I was really impressed by Cutler. He made good decisions, especially when he chose to run.

Stats don't always tell you the whole story. 90 of those yards were a screen to Forte. I'm looking at Cutler to improve his decision making in the red zone. Despite great field position all day, the only scoring strikes were 2 long Forte plays. I can't say you take them out, because they happened and count just the same. Still we're talking about running up numbers on Detroit.

Um because he sucks. He definitely should have had help there going against Johnson. 6-1 193 lbs is not going to beat 6-5 236 lbs most of the time.

I was a little suprised the did not go long more. I love DA and hope he can hold on to the ball in the future. I think knox is a boob. I don't know what to do with Hester.

The 4 red zone failures were the Aromashodu drop, the Forte fumble, the Olsen fumble, and the first-and-goal fiasco.

Struggling to see how this is Cutler's fault...

And yes let's take away the screen pass from his stats, because, other QB's that surpass 300 yards never have plays like that.

Heard Les last night say that a couple of Cutler's picks weren't his fault. Implication being there were three or more INTs in total. Thought there was only one...

Imaginary football.

Bears fans should be thanking the ol' rainbow in the toilet bowl they have a mobile QB like Cutler behind this line. Peyton Manning behind this line would be a disaster. Much less King Orton.

Where did all of the Devin Hester lovers go??? He has regressed in his quest to be an NFL WR, & it appears that Cutler isn't even looking for him. Knox wasn't very good in game 1 either. DA was the only WR who looked like he had a clue, but he had the drops. Cutler has 3 #4 WR's to throw to.
