so...met with my dad and his partners yesterday. they're really excited to have me come aboard and what I can bring to the table in terms of development in other areas through my contacts.
so that was pretty cool...

we used to play a game called Speedball that was a mix of soccer and touch football......and 11 year olds having coke fits...

Is speedball the one with the 'baskets' that were cut outs on a basketball backboard? We played something like that in PE at Holy Cross but I can't remember if that was it.

it was like soccer but goals were two points. you could flip the ball up to yourself then catch and run with it. but you couldn't pick it up directly. if you ran across the "end zone" it was one point.
so, you'd try to run with it to the goal, drop it, and then kick it in for two. if you were touched, you had to drop the ball and kick it, or flip it back up to yourself and then you could pass or run.
fun...but really tiring.

so...i dropped in on new girl at work on wednesday, unannounced....
went very well....first time i've really seen her. it's been phone, text, email, IM, for the past 2.5 months, though i did meet her in person a year ago-ish.....
anyway....
I got the "i didn't want you to leave" text message after leaving her work on the way home.

her schedule sucks, but we plan on spending new years day/night together. (she likes football!!!!)

it's kinda crazy. but, i have more in common with a girl i've been "talking" to for 2.5 months than i did with that other person for 9 years.

Where does this girl work? Spending a holiday together is a pretty big deal. I hope you celebrate with some sort of nudity but other than take it slow. You are a great catch. Don't let her force you into a relationship right away.

she manages a restaurant...... and it's not like Christmas day or Easter, Spaulding. it's just football day....
I doubt there will be nudity, but who knows....i think once you both start talking about sex, then it's just a matter of time. especially if she is initiating said topic.

she's really cool and i would very much like to see her naked. but, again her scedule is absolutely horrible to be in a relationship with someone who works a "regular" job.....which is why she's been contemplating another career path for a bit.
we are both very aware of what is happening. we've talked about it a great deal. it's creepy, exciting, a bit of a mind f*ck, but i think we are both keeping our heads on pretty straight about it.

how so? it's not like were extremely graphic about it. they are just fringe discussions, but ones that we didn't have a few weeks ago. hell, last week, even....
i think once i saw her at work and i broke the ice, the unsaid "i'd like to see you naked" became a desire on both ends b/c i wasn't totally sure....pictures can hide many things.....
