Hey, I placed my bet as soon as the lines were posted and got the Saints -4.5. The final score was Saints +5. Handicapping doesn't get much better than that.

which reflected the changes in the lines over the course of the week.

I understand it's just for fun, but half of the challenge in betting weekly NFL/college games is sorting out when to place your bet to get the best line.

Why not let people choose the best line (to them) that's available at the time they post their bet based on the selections available at those above links.

I also see I had the gd Bulldogs at the opening +2.5 and the final score was Tigers +3. Handicapping doesn't get much more painful than that.

Because Donspiracy would have to check the lines every time someone places a bet, and I am sure this consumes enough of his time as it is. It is much easier to post one set of lines where everyone has the same odds. This is how contests such as the Las Vegas Hilton Contest are run. Sometimes there are stale lines.

I don't know. I never met the guy. My buddy knew him, so he placed the bets for me. There was a number with an 847 hook that had all of the lines and totals on a recorded message.
