I'm new to this board, but I listen to the Score all day in my office.
Listening to North in the morning is like going to the dentist without geting jacked-up. I used to like the guy but he is so tuned out of life that I catch myself saying "WHAT; HUH" Can't CBS buy out his contract and put someone/anyone on besides his condenscending attitude all morning??

Could they? yes
Would they? No
Should they? YES

Actually what I would love to see them do is make the buyout offer, which is just the PV of his current contract or

Alternative of a new show with Matt, Jason and Rock

Would he take the money and leave the air for the next 2 years or would he do the show which he already knows is much better?

The problem is, the Score has nobody to replace North with. They're not going to give the morning drive slot to two unproven young guys (Drinky and Jason) no matter how good they are, and it would take a literal dump-truck full of cash to get Boers to move that show to the AM.

If/when North ends up getting punted, I'm guessing we see the return of the mind-numbingly boring Murph and Fred show. At least that would free up the mid-day slot for Last Call to go permanent.

I don't agree with a lot of North's over-reactions on a daily basis (start Orton, is the latest one), but if they just got rid of Annie, the show would automatically be better.

If they did buy him out; this line-up would be priceless.
Murph back 6-10 ( He must have lots's of material on his yellow pad since he only has two hours vs. four!!)
JenJen ( She would drive Murph crazy in about one week!! )
Rock ( He can talk about Nickleback & Murph can talk about Elvis !! )
Producer CY in the backround just sitting there crying laughing all morning!!

Hey, it would be entertaining for a while.
