That's another White Sox winner! Lucas Harrell did the job in his major league debut and the offense put up a 6 spot. 12 in a row at home and the train keeps on rollin!

I went to the game. I didn't get good and drunk but I did knock down a couple/few Sam Adams. Beautiful night, terrible game.

Big League Choo is down 7-4 in my fantasy world series. I'm down 0.89-0.77 in WHIP and 10-9 in home runs. I need a near perfect game from Johnny Danks and 2 home runs from Alex Rios. Go get em, Boys!

What an absolute sack of shit team. Getting swept not once at home, but twice in back to back series. This team is flat-out embarrassing.

The Twins completely gutted this team and they have given up on the season.

Started out like shit, ending up like shit.

its normal for a team, once eliminated after so much hope, for the air to just come out of the balloon and deflate even more

same thing happened to the cardinals (reason the cubs swept them), as well as the cubs earlier in the year

the sox, now that the pressure is off, will bounce back a bit later this week i predict...

Another nice diving stop with a big time throw by Morel. If he can do anything at the plate he will be a nice upgrade at 3B next season.

It appears as if we may have seen the last of Gordon this season, says the Sun-Times & SCORE's Joe Cowley. Beckham continues to experience pain in that hand of his, and it's looking more and more like Brent Lillibridge will continue to patrol second base for the White Sox with a handful of games left.

I'm assuming he will be doing this between rounds of Halo:Reach and his quest for the ring.

Wouldn't it be a trip if everyone bitching about foul mouthed teenagers were actually being taunted by this guy:

It's Brent Lillibridge

Is it just me or does Brent Lillibridge have a similar batting stance to Gordon Beckham? I know Lillibridge looks like he should still be in high school...

If you still care about the White Sox, I've got the lineup for tonight's first of four vs. the Red Sox and Clay Buchholz this eve at likely very, very empty U.S. Cellular Field. It goes like this:

1 Juan "2 Hits, 2 Runs Scored" Pierre LF
11 Omar "#5's Now Available...RETIRE #11!!!" Vizquel 2B
51 Alex "Didn't Start, Came in Late" Rios CF
14 Paul "Enjoy Him Now, Sox Fans" Konerko 1B
99 Manny "Stop Playing the Hot Dog, Ozzie!" Ramirez DH
12 A.J. "Hope You Like Detroit, Boston or Playing Elsewhere" Pierzynski C
20 Carlos "2 for 4, 1 RBI" Quentin RF
10 Alexei "Omar's Been Very Helpful This Year" Ramirez SS
22 Brent "Mark Teahen or Dayan Viciedo at 3rd Next Year? YUCK!" Morel 3B

Mark "I Couldn't Beat the A's In My Last Start" Buehrle does the chucking in the first of 4.
