I just heard that Fred is going to be at the Walgreens in Aurora, pushing the Norelco razor from 4-6.

How much does Fred get for something like that? I would say no less than $1000, am I too high? too low?

Plus, is anyone going to the Walgreens to see Fred?

What happens when you get there?

Is Fred working the door greeting you?

or do you turn the corner and see Fred in a 49ers jersey at a table blocking an aisle?

The whole thing kinda cracks me up

I think 1000 is way to high. I know a news women in Chicago radio that makes 500 for an apperance, so I assume it's a rare thing for fred so he probably is making 600-700 for it

Even if he gets $500 - does his appearance sell that much in product ?

Why would you buy a razor because Fred Hueber is making a sales pitch for it ?

I thought you were asking about his annual $, which somehow is in the 70s. For a "talent fee" (for Fred?!?!) he probably gets 300 & free makeup for his wife. Nobody in their right mind would pay 500 for a C-list guy.

So on a related note, how much did it cost Paulina Meat Market to get George Offman? A pound of sausage?

is/was that a real apperance?

I only ask because I have bought meat with George at the Whole Foods down the street and would entertain the thought of arriving at Paulina.

Note to Everyone

Only entertaining the thought

I can't think of these promos as being money well-spent. But maybe I'm wrong; maybe the average joe has a yen for meeting a Fred Heubner. And buying a razor for the privledge.

I don't picture Fred having a choice. I'm thinking the exchange went something like this:

Pappy: Great news Fred! I got ya a gig at da Walgreens selling razors.

Fred: Ahh..thanks Mike..but I..don't..know..if I..

Pappy: Listen here, ya chubby kraut bastard! I pulled alotta strings ta getcha dis deal. Do ya remember Sportsphone?

Fred: Yes sir!

Pappy: Well, if ya don't play baall, Sportsphone is gonna look like headlinin' at the Copa my friend, cuz you'll be done in dis town! Dat ain't a t(h)reat, it's a promise.

Fred: I'm sorry Mike

Pappy: What da hell did ju dis call me?

Fred: Humanna.. humanna.. Mr. North sir!

Mike: Dat's what I taught Fred. An while yer der, try ta snag a treet fer Lic. And try an score me a razor for me an Be. Don't cha know we worked hard to be scrounges?

Why the hell is he in the cosmetics section? He needs a new agent.

Man, that's a bad gig. At least put him next to the condoms or some section where the guys are already sheepishly entering.

"Yeah, I'd like to buy these Doritos, a pack of condoms, and hi Fred..."

It's only fitting, since he's married to Ginny Sack.

I understand that his industry does not demand that he look presentable in the office. I also understand that he has never made enough money to buy a decent suit. Doesn't the SCORE give him at least a button down shirt so he looks like more than an intern at the remotes?

Big Time work by TORCH....assuming he got it from the Score Website, but even if he did...still fine work!

The picture is almost as funny as my thought of Fred sitting in that aisle.

"Hi...I am Fred"
"who?"
"Fred Huebner"
"huh?"
"Fredrico"
"Huebs"
"The 3rd?"
