I know there are still plenty of NFL games on, but Bearless sundays feel like holidays. Unfortunately I have to go to a christening. I guess I should be happy the guy scheduled it on an off day. I will pray for all your tortured souls.

Working. We are setting up a new system on weekends, and when the Bears play, the IT guys always want to knock off before noon, which I do not object to. We will be staying until 4 or so this time.

My friend scored a free 18 holes, tee off 11:50. If I score a 243 like I did last time, I'll be upset.

After sjboyd's glowing recommendation, I'll be checking out Lady Jane's in Naperville (that's right, Brian Paruch & sjboyd!!!), then a nice afternoon nap in traffic.

I'm taking my daughters to Hershey Park and Zooamerica. Lame and touristy, but I got free tickets and my eldest loves going to Hershey.

There is nothing lame about Hershey Park. That's one of my favorite towns to visit.

I'd rather try to go garage sailing

That's when you take a small garage and find a way to float it. :D

oh we love hershey, we are there once a month or so. I meant the zoo is lame, and I would never pay full price to get in hershey park.

I was only there for a day, but it seemed like I did everything possible there in that one day outside of seeing the Hershey Bears play.

What do you do there once a month?

The Christmas lights spectacular was spectacularly spectacular though. http://www.christmasinhershey.com/hershey_sweetlights.php

When we go shopping (like to a mall) or want to go out to dinner, we tend to go there because the local mall sucks and they have everything there...and it's nicer than Reading and only 15 minutes further away. I live in the middle of nowhere, so driving 45 minutes to Hershey isn't that bad.

It gave me a chance to run a couple of errands, but still made time to watch Eli Manning morph into Rex Grossman as the Giants really sucked vs. the Titans, not to mention brother Peyton get it done for the Colts over the Broncos in Denver.

Kyle Orton had a hell of a game for Denver.

Yeah, the Paul Reubens-looking Orton had a big game, but it was a losing effort for his Broncos. The Chargers' Philip Rivers also had a big game, but his team lost to the Seahawks thanks to 2 Leon Washington kickoff returns for TDs in Seattle.
