Instead of listening, I am watching True Stories, which is a movie by David Byrne of the Talking Heads (who perform in said movie and did the soundtrack.

Very much a cult classic. Features a young John Goodman. Basically it's a mockumentary.

If you ever saw the video for Wild Wild Life on MTV, it's taken straight from the movie.

I would say Netflix it. I was happy to find it streaming.

Great album (Kweller)

I really hope Kweller sticks with the Alt/Country stuff for a little while. I like his older stuff, but the guy definitely has matured since putting out his first few albums.

you mean like trying to be ben folds? i still think he is. but he is a talented musician.

i'm listening to "hurley". it's actually pretty good. probably on par with the green album, which isn't high praise; but "where's my sex?" is up there with some of cuomo's best.

I gave the new Weezer disc a spin this morning. It's really not that bad.

Damn Labcabin. That was my shit back in the day. The Pharcyde is one of them groups I wish stood together.

Southernplayalistic is a trip to listen too. They sound so young and raw on that album and look at what theyve become. Probably the best hip hop duo ever. Sir Lucious LeftFoot is a damn classic already. I cant put that album down

Got this goin in the background. Some good sunday night relaxing music

I can agree that Kweller's first 3 albums were very Folds-esque, but Changing Horses is very different than anything he has done before.

War had had a little bit of jazz, a little bit of funk, a little bit of Latin flavor, and a little bit of soul.

Damn I love the 70s. :)

first of all, you're listening to Warren G
second of all, if you're going to do that, at least listen to Regulate
I actually own this album and it hasn't seen the light of day in over a decade, nor will it ever
