I liked them. I also liked the coaches apparrel that went with it. I usually never recommend movement from the best uniform in the league but this one worked.

No more orange jersies!

As throwbacks go, I really liked these a lot. If I saw one in the store with a players
number I liked, I would be tempted to buy one. Liked the simplicity of them very much.

I liked them too. Meant to mention this last night.

I'd prefer they stick to the "throwback" helmets

Say what you will about head coach Lovie Smith, but he made no secret about his like for the retro look during the WBBM Newsradio 780/Bears' Radio Network pregame last night with PBP voice Jeff Joniak. Lovie does recognize the team's rich, storied history sporting the old school duds such as the navy blue sideline cap with the orange "B" he's worn during practice and at home games. The special navy & orange retro uniforms the Bears wore last night were only the beginning. I believe they'll sport the classic duds again on 2 more occasions at home, but you can buy a retro Jay Cutler, Brian Urlacher, Devin Hester, John Knox and/or Lance Briggs jersey right now at chicagobears.com/shop.

Yep. I liked the style of sweatshirt Lovie was wearing as well. I think he tucked it into his pants though. Who besides Harry does that?

I want the Khaki's Martz was wearing last night. I'll wash them three times, and cut the front out for wallpaper. Then, I will keep the rest for the rare times I wear pants.

Oh man, makin me explain my jokes... ok here goes...
Martz is a bit of a fatty. And you are notoriously, uh, not. You "want the same hoodie Martz is wearing".
The joke is assuming you actually mean that very hoodie, that it would be very large on you, large enough to live in, thus not needing your domicile.
I am sorry for the joke had failed.

I actually bought the Hoodie awhile ago at Dicks Sporting goods in Tinley Park. They had only a few of them there and it was around $75 but I had a gift card so it was like $20 for me. Yeah I know you guys are happy for me.

I mostly agree and especially disliked the smaller numbers and the decreased contrast between the numbers and the jersey.

They didn't wear their throwbacks and they played some embarrassing ball last night. Clay, Finley and A rodg were solid, but not noteworthy. I have not decided whether the flashing of the belt by A rodg was a good celebration, or really really bad.

+1
Something I actually agree on with shakes.

The Bears should never wear throwbacks ever again. 1960 or later only for throwbacks, IMO. Nothing with the leather helmets or weird color schemes that include tan should ever be worn again.

In fact they are scheduled to wear them just one more time at home, SHARK. November 14, vs. Minnesota.

Thanks for the clarification...The uniforms the Bears wore last night were a far cry than the orange 1946 throwbacks they wore when they lost 21-7 to the Cowboys at Texas Stadium in a Thanksgiving Day turkey that I felt sorry for FOX Sports' Joe Buck, Troy Aikman & Pam Oliver having to broadcast that crap in 2004.

I think they're terrible. The regular home uniforms are terrific, among the league's best (Bears navy, Colts white, Raiders black, Packers green), so why wear them less than the maximum? It's only a 16-game season, after all. It's not like baseball where you can dick around with Negro League clown suits or garish '70s pullovers a couple times out of a six full months. Wearing white at home was stupid, too. Why, to make the Lions sweat to death in their medium-blue jerseys on a 63-degree day?

Sure undermines the throwback spirit when the coach is wearing a sweatshirt, by the way.

The high on Sunday, September 12 was 83 F with the wind from the SW. Not cooler (at least not noticeably) by the lake that day. I was there.
