I just caught the Kobe interview midway through and didn't hear who it was.

I thought for sure it was Michael Jordan. I've heard him before and thought this - but when you hear him on the radio, it's exact. Even the way he phrases things.

I agree Dr. the resemblance on the radio is uncanny. He's always tailored himself to be a MJ clone.

I've actually heard radio bits before called "Kobe or MJ" where they'd play a sound bite and you'd have to guess which one it was. It's kind of creepy.
Kobe also said he was really close to becoming a Bull a couple of years ago. I don't remember it coming down to that...I thought it was always between the Lakers and the Clippers...

I seem to remember the Bulls name being thrown in but everybody knew it was just a bargaining tool because the Bulls had a lot of money available and there was no way Kobe was coming here to be compared to Jordan endlessly.

But I may not remember that correctly.

That sounds familliar. He was a free agent right after the "Colorado Incident", so I don't think he would have been to well received here...until he started dropping 35 a night.
