Its going to be a Reds/Rays Series.

UMN, if I'm FOX Sports' bosses Ed Goren & David Hill, that's one series that'll draw as few viewers as "LoneStar", which the network just cancelled after 2 episodes.

There is alot of World Series matchups that could draw fewer viewers than Lonestar, because Rays-Phillies didn't get watched by a lot of people, I think for baseball's sake it has to be Phillies-Yankees.

It's too bad the weather looks like it's gonna be pretty nice for the Twins/Yankees series. I was hoping for cold weather to negate some of the Yankee's power. The Twins are so good at manufacturing runs by sacrificing and hitting behind runners, that I thought in cold weather they might have a better chance. In the opener Liriano will have his hands full with Sabathia. But after that, the Yankee starters are shakey. Then again, so have the Twin's starters been, of late. I see the Yankees and Rays meeting in the ALCS with the Rays winning. The Phillies will meet the Giants, with the Giants winning and the Rays will win the title over the Giants.

Lee and Price both looking rough early. Tampa missing a huge chance in the 1st, bases loaded and 1 out, and scoring nothing.

Nelson Cruz just hit an HGH level shot.

If the Rays lose the David Price game its over...

Don't underestimate the Rangers. While some teams may run out of gas at the end of the season, they have Ron Washington to keep them energized.

He's 2-for-2 at this point, UMN, and the Rangers have a 4-0 lead on the Rays. By the way, are there still empty seats disguised as fans at Tropicana Field?

I see what you did there, Jimmy. I remember Dusty Baker's son almost got run over during the 2002 World Series between the Giants & Angels. How old is he anyway? :?

seeing as it was a fait accompli in this thread that the rays would handle the rangers and seeing as i'm an expos fan i'm obviously a vlad guy, i am proud to announce that the rangers are now officially "my rangers." obviously, i don't trust their starting pitching as far as i can throw them and it wouldn't surprise me in teh least if they lose to the rays, or anyone for that matter (even tho i'm an expos fan cliff lee is still meh to me, even tho i will still RAGE when talking about omar minaya's masterpiece to send him brandon phillips and grady sizemore to the tribe for a 1/2 season of BARTOLO MOTHERFUCKING COLON) but still, last season vlad hit .378 in two series with a HR 7 RBIs .966 OPS and today he was 2-4 with a RBI double so hey, the vladometer is a movin and we'll go from there.

it's good to see dusty get a game one L hung on him too. oswalt and the rejuvenated 08esque cole hamels await. enjoy that, planner.

liriano got the comeback player of the year over my guy vlad. vlad owes the yankees. yankees fans showed me class when i was at the stadium at david price's MLB debut 9/14/08 at yankee stadium, buying me beers for my eclectic combination of an angels hat, vlad expos jersey, and bionic commando t-shirt. i actually like the yankees once i went to yankee stadium, so i hope they win... then vlad owes them. bring it.

The Twins are looking pretty good so far. Really heads up play by Hudson to take the extra base on the play where CC was too fat to get over and cover 1st base.

Dig the old breed.

I hope that you are old enough to have seen what I consider to have been a wonderful outfield trio: Ellis Valentine, Warren Cromartie and Andre Dawson.

It was not prudent to attempt to take an extra base on Ellis Valentine's arm!
